Path to the Truth. Falls and Rises
This composition refers to the dual picture of the world and dual human nature, personality and soul. This is the fight of Good against Evil and commitment to excellence and harmony. This is the quest for fulfillment and decent personal realization. This is the endeavor to reach the mystery of the world order through the perception of harmony as unity and struggle of opposites. The title of my artwork also says ‘inspired by W. Goethe’s “Faust”. I must confess that I was indeed inspired by the main idea of this famous tragedy. This voluminous oeuvre of outstanding German poet and dramatist in fact comprises entire world order and traces a path of a man who wants to know, attain and achieve something, to gain harmony.
Creator-Artist. The Duality of World View and Personality. The unity and struggle of opposites are the driving mechanisms of the system’s development. No development leads to stagnation and death.
Eye of Omniscience. Turn to the Creator. Explores the topic of awakening and accepting this duality, twofold principle of a personality. This is the embodiment of Struggle and Unity.
Temptation. Seduction. Darkness. This is the opposite side of world cognition, the dark side of the mirror-world. The only positive moment in this endless succession of Falls and Rises is the experience the soul gains.
Edifying. Faith. Hope. Love. This path goes through realization of the duality of all things existent in a human. Having accepted it, having felt the possibility of conscious choice on one’s way to the Light a human gets into the stream of Univers Energy
